Lana McCarthy is a highly experienced and passionate professional in the field of interpersonal communication with expertise as a communication coach, speech pathologist and facilitator.
For 29 years, Lana has helped thousands of adults improve their interpersonal communication skills, 22 of those years through her business, Word of Mouth.

Lana has coached individuals and facilitated workshops for senior executives in the corporate, public and not-for-profit sectors, across all communication domains. Some of her clients include individuals, together with corporate clients from Wesfarmers, Atlassian, Challenger, CBA and BHP Billiton and government clients from Australian Defence Force and Australian Museum. She provides coaching on a pro-bono basis for mentors working at Tribal Warrior, an indigenous organisation based in Redfern in Sydney.

Through one-on-one coaching and group training, Lana has the specialist expertise to assess communication skills and design individual, targeted intervention to assist her clients through a transformation process that equips them with the skills they need to communicate with clarity and confidence. By developing a customised, tailored program for each client Lana is able to provide a tangible, outcome based plan to ensure each client is able to achieve their personal best.
