Business description

Sunstopper Blinds and Awnings is now proudly owned by Alex Garden and Amy Munday, long-time Dubbo locals who bring the same friendly, down-to-earth service the business has always been known for. Alex and Amy took over in 2025 and continue the strong commitment to quality that Phil and Cathie White established during their time at the helm. Here’s what sets Sunstopper apart:

Family-owned and operated: When you work with Alex and Amy, you deal directly with the owners rather than a sales chain. They continue the personal approach set by Phil and Cathie.

Locals supporting locals: As proud Australians, they use Australian-made brands wherever possible, helping support local manufacturing and jobs.
Tailored for every budget: Whether you’re after reliable, budget-friendly options or something a little more luxe, their curated range is designed to suit your style, space, and budget.

We don’t disappear after installation: The service doesn’t stop once the blinds go up. From follow-up checks to friendly advice down the track, Alex and Amy are here for the long haul.
