Beirut Bites is a sit-down shawarma restaurant that treats the wrap as just the beginning. We serve authentic Lebanese shawarma—lighter on the spice, heavier on the lemon and garlic—alongside a full menu of cold and hot mezze. Start with labneh (strained yogurt with dried mint), baba ghanoush (smoky eggplant dip), and warak enab (stuffed grape leaves). Then move to our shawarma platter: a generous mound of shaved meat, served with garlicky potatoes, grilled tomato, and fresh pickles. Our beef shawarma is unique—we add a touch of cinnamon and allspice, and we finish the shaved meat with a squeeze of lemon and a sprinkle of toasted pine nuts. The atmosphere is warm and family-style: patterned tiles, copper trays on the walls, and a small hookah lounge in the back. For dessert, try the knafeh—a sweet, cheesy pastry soaked in rose syrup.
