Paula Fulton

Paula Fulton is a debut novelist whose lifelong fascination with the natural world, mystery, and the unknown inspired her to write Loch Ness Has a Secret. Now based in Orlando, Florida, Paula brings decades of real-world experience, compassion, and curiosity to her storytelling.

Her professional journey began at just 18 years old, when she started working full-time in the aquarium department at SeaWorld Orlando. Over the next 15 years, she worked in marine animal care, rescue operations, and rehabilitation, developing both technical expertise and a profound respect for the creatures that live beneath the surface. Those years deepened her appreciation for the mysteries of the water and fueled her imagination about what else may remain undiscovered.

That lifelong sense of wonder eventually found its way into fiction. In Loch Ness Has a Secret, Paula combines her love of the natural world with her fascination for cryptids, cryptozoology, lake monsters, and the enduring mystery of the Loch Ness Monster. Her writing invites readers to believe again in the possibility that some legends may carry more truth than we expect.
