IMost scrap buyers pay you for the weight of your car. Scrap A Vehicle pays for what the car is actually worth. We compare prices across hundreds of UK scrap yards and Authorised Treatment Facilities, then value the components that can be resold — engine, gearbox, catalytic converter, body panels and electronics — alongside the scrap metal itself. On many vehicles that is the difference between a weight-based price and one several times higher. Enter your registration for an instant online valuation, then book a collection slot that suits you. The whole thing is done online: no ringing round yards for quotes, no waiting for someone to call you back. Scrap vehicles start from £150 and salvage-grade vehicles from £1,100, depending on model, condition and current metal prices. The price quoted is the price paid, with no deductions on the day. Collection is free anywhere in the UK. Vehicles are collected by licensed Authorised Treatment Facilities, who notify the DVLA and issue your Certificate of Destruction, so the vehicle is properly deregistered and your liability ends. Payment is made by bank transfer at the point of collection.
