About us
Hi, I'm Kelly, founder of Comfort on the Spectrum, and a Melbourne mum who started this brand in 2020 because I couldn't find what my son needed.
He was struggling with pyjamas. Not a big deal to most people but when your child has sensory sensitivities, the wrong fabric, a scratchy tag, or a bulky seam can completely derail a night. I searched everywhere and came up empty. So I made them myself.
What started as four pyjama designs for kids / teens has grown into a full range of sensory-friendly clothing for kids and adults. Bamboo sleepwear, seamless underwear, sensory socks, hoodies, school wear alternatives, and more. Every single piece is made from ultra-soft bamboo fabrics derived from bamboo or cotton with flat seams, no tags, no zips, and no irritants.
Five years on, we've moved from my home into a warehouse, expanded our range based entirely on what our community asks for, and earned over 300 five-star reviews from families who finally found something that works.
This isn't clothing that just looks good. It's clothing that actually feels good, designed for people who need it, by someone who gets it.
