I have a specialty in school safety and security best practices and innovations, Incident Command (ICS) and emergency planning for schools, data analysis, teacher coaching, curriculum design, creating and sustaining independent, data-driven grade-level teams and PLCs, and writing, editing, and turn keyed corrective action plans. My experience is primarily in urban districts with high poverty rates and large ELL, special needs, and minority populations. I also have experience with bilingual and dual-language programs. In addition, I have performed educational administrative work at both building-based and central office locations. Heavy involvement at turnaround schools on SIP plans and effective at increasing student outcomes and professional practice in urban settings.
